Eric Prydz is a Swedish artist who is probably more popular in Europe than he is here in the heel United States. The first encounter I had with this chap was about three years ago, his song was used for a ytmnd about a girl who didn’t change facial expressions. This became the unofficial “…doesn’t change facial expressions” music for the many works it inspired. The song would be revealed as Call on Me. One night, I found out that there was a video…and what a video! The premise is simple, a guy takes an aerobics class with a lot of hot chicks…he’s the only guy.



Later I found some more of his work. He does a mean remix of Another Brick in the Wall which he calls Proper Education. Remxing Pink Floyd isn’t easy to do…I’d have to say he pulled it off.

Fireflight

I would like to present you all with Fireflight. They’re a Christian rock band out of Florida. Even though they are Christian and it comes through in their music frequently, they still sound awesome. I first heard them on a commercial for Bionic Woman on NBC. I had to do some research to dig for their name. Well worth it.

Dawn Richardson – lead vocals, Wendy Drennen – bass guitar and vocals, Justin Cox – guitar and background vocals, Glenn Drennen – guitar, Phee Shorb – drums.

I would recommend listening to Unbreakable (the song from the commercial) or You Decide. Both are accompanied by a video, which are available on Youtube.

Band of the Week

Since the music I listen to is way better than the music you enjoy, I have decided to issue a band of the week. Hopefully I can come up with 52 of these in a year. I may skip a few weeks here or there. Of course those of you who know me pretty well will know of most this stuff. I’ll start on this first thing tomorrow. That means probably the very last thing I do before bed.
