Another useful thing that I wasn’t able to find scanned for anyone’s convenience on the Interwebs. Ever run out or low on Clue notepads while playing the game? Here’s a scan to print more out of!

I just decided to list the 4 extensions I use, since they come in pretty handy, or are just a little fun.
First, Xmarks – extremely useful. Formerly known as “Foxmarks,” Xmarks synchronizes your bookmarks and other browser related settings with all of the browsers you use. This is especially useful if you work on multiple machines, multiple browsers (works in IE, Flock and Safari also), or even just a nice way of backing up everything.
Next, Forecastfox. This one is a very simple add-on, it displays the current temp and weather conditions somewhere in the browser, at all times. The default is the bottom right corner, which works out fine for me, but you can put it topside or various other spots if you would like. It also shows you the weather for various different times that you set it up to display.
StumbleUpon is a great little tool as well. It works similar to Pandora, except instead for websites instead of music. It will show you random websites (or websites in a category of your choosing) and you give it a thumbs up or a thumbs down. The websites it shows you will begin to change based on your votes. It’s a really fun way to discover things that you otherwise would never see.
Finally, IE Tab – This one is particularly useful for those pages that refuse to understand that this is the 21st century and IE isn’t the only browser anymore. Instead of having to give Firefox a rest while you fetch IE from somewhere in your programs menu just to view one page, you can view it in Firefox with ease. If you visit a page frequently that needs IE, you can add these websites to a list that defaults Firefox to open it in IE tab.
I just thought I should share. Enjoy if you end up using them.

Now that Christmas is over, which I hate, my birthday is right around the corner. Thanks to some loving folk in my life, such as dad and Justine, my list of stuff I want is considerably smaller. Here is my list as it exists now:

The Chocolate Double Decker Moon Pies
Seriously, that’s all that is left.

…yes, it makes a sound.
Why?
The theory that sound needs to be heard in order to exist is completely inaccurate. Hearing is a sense, like taste, touch, scent and sight. Saying that something doesn’t make a sound because no one is there to hear it is as absurd as saying there the fall reflects no light because no one is there to see it, or there is no fall because no one is there to feel the vibrations.

I’m gonna answer a timeless question. I M2J have solved this mystery. What came first, the chicken or the egg?
Answer: The Egg
Why? Dinosaurs laid eggs and existed before chickens. Problem solved, by M2J

I tried finding one of these on my own and simply couldn’t. The stock icon is your standard lo-res icon, so I conjured up this one, feel free to use. I personally wanted it for Rocket Dock since the original was heavily pixelated and an eye-sore.

It’s a PNG file, 250×250 pixels.

A few weeks ago, I got an IM from a PsychiatricTrout. I forgot what they started off with, but it was as if we were in the middle of a conversation. They claimed that my screen name looked like it was a fish name as well, but his indeed wasn’t. Both of us seemed to think the other was messing around. Just tonight, I received an IM from TemptedTrout. Sure enough, same thing. He apparently had experienced this before. He said that us “Salmon guys” rule. Again he claimed that his name wasn’t what it appeared. Well, I did some research…

Trout bots
In late July 2008, users began to report being contacted by bots with names of the form “<adjective>Trout”.[19][20][21] [22] These bots appear to have replaced the Salmon bots; no one has reported being contacted by a Salmon bot since the Trout bots appeared.
While it is not completely clear if the Trout bots are affiliated with the Salmon bots and with Project Upstream, their behavior seems to be identical. In addition, the Trout bots have been reported to respond when Project Upstream’s connection request site is used.[23] Since this Web site previously solicited a response from Salmon bots, this indicates a link between the two.
Apparently, it’s a bot. It pairs up people and messes with them. At least it makes sense now. Show this to anyone you know in the event they fall victim to this.

As a public service to those confused about the whole digital and analog TV thing that the government is confusing you with, I’m going to simplify it for you. Forget most of what you have heard up to this point. You maybe thinking it has something to do with HD, it actually doesn’t really, so forget the HD thing. If you have cable or satellite, you can also stop worrying, yes, this only applies to TVs using an antenna to receive broadcasts over the air. Now, real simple, analog broadcast waves look like this:

Analog Wave
Digital broadcast waves look like this:

Digital Wave
As you can see, I am the greatest artist ever. If your TV is more than about 3 years old, 99% chance it will have been made without the ability to receive the digital broadcast waves. The analog waves are not going to be broadcast anymore, only the digital ones. This is where that box comes in handy. More than likely, you would be made aware that your TV came with a digital tuner built in. If you don’t have one, the box that the government is trying to make it easy for people to get a hold of will capture the digital signal and convert it to analog for your old TV. That’s it, really, that’s it! Again, if you have cable or satellite, don’t worry. If you have a TV with a digital tuner built in, don’t worry. Bye
